China’s Outward Investment Ranked 13th in the World in 2006
Ministry of Commence, National Bureau of Statistics of China and SAFE have jointly issued “Public Report on the Statistics of 2006 China Outward Investment†on Sep. 14th. The statistics indicates that
The statistics shows that over 5,000 domestic investment entities in China has established nearly 10,000 direct investment enterprises overseas in 172 nations and regions by the end of 2006. The accumulative net outward investment reaches $90.63 billion. Direct investment made in the form of acquisitions and mergers accounts for 40% of the total investment, and loans provided by domestic investment entities accounts off 50% of the non-financial outward direct investment.
